There are several different types of rooms at UHSSL that can meet various different needs. Many of the rooms already have multimedia technology integrated into the room. For rooms that are not integrated, there is portable multimedia equipment available if needed. For wireless internet access, see the following PDF for instructions on connecting.

| ROOM | DESCRIPTION |
| Windstream Room | Large room on the 1st floor which can seat up to fifty people in multi-purpose chairs. Has integrated media system with audio, 3500 lumen LCD projector, screen, DVD/VCR player, and document camera. Can be used with customer supplied laptop computer. |
| Rotunda | Large area on 1st floor in center of facility which can accommodate up to 200 individuals in chairs or between 64-200 individuals around 60" round tables. Note: Tables and chairs will need to be rented at lessees/users expense. |
| Videoconferencing Room | Five rooms located on the 1st and 3rd floors. Have different seating capacity (10, 16, 28, 31 or 32) and equipment. All rooms have ISDN / IP capable codec, 32" monitors or 50" plasma display, computer, VCR and document camera. |
| Computer Labs | Located on the 3rd floor. Room 305 can accommodate twenty-eight individuals with Pentium 4 desktop computers in ergonomic desks. Room 306 can accommodate thirty-six individuals with Pentium 4 laptop computers. Both rooms have workstation for a presenter, complete with projection and computer annotation abilities. |
| General Classroom | Both small and large size rooms on first, second, and third floors with tables and chairs. Small rooms can accommodate up to thirty-five and large size rooms can accommodate up to forty-nine. Some rooms have integrated media system with audio, 3500 lumen LCD projector, screen, and DVD/VCR player. Can be used with customer supplied laptop computer. |
| Seminar Classroom | Four rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors with a view from the front or back of the facility. Rooms can accommodate up to thirty individuals. One room has electrical connections at the tables for laptops. |
| Kitchen | Located on the 1st floor. Has a four element range top, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. |
