University of Houston - Victoria
This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHV. The mission of this program is to develop leaders who advance ethics, excellence, and the highest educational standards in our society's schools. For candidates with no experience in the field of education, a master's degree program with a concertration in General Administration is offered. Behavioral Science - Psychology, M.A.

This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHCL. The Master's program in Psychology is designed to give students a deeper understanding of human behavior from a variety of perspectives. Counseling, LPC and School Counseling, M.Ed.

This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHV. Through Academic and field experiences, students are prepared to respond to the challenges and needs of a culturally diverse society. The Counseling program is designed to provide knowledge and skills for school counselor certification and to provide a program of courses that satisfies requirements for the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license. Elementary Education teachers seeking masters' degrees may pursue the Elementary Education Master Math program which concentrates on effective teaching methods for mathematics in Early Childhood through Grade 4 or Grades 4-8 and includes all the classes required to prepare for Master Math Teacher Certification. Those interested in improving their teaching skills in the reading field can specialize in Reading and prepare for Reading Specialist Certification and/or Master Reading Teacher Certification. This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHV. The RN to MSN bridge program is designed to allow associate degree and diploma nurses obtain a master's degree with a focus as a nurse administrator or nurse educator in the most streamlined manner possible.
