Undergraduate Degrees
Accounting, B.B.A.
University of Houston - Victoria
This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHV. This program prepares students for excellent career opportunities in both the public and private sectors. Graduates who go on to complete 150 hours consistently score well on the CPA exam. The program includes real-world applied learning, case studies, and team projects. Graduates can pursue positions in the private or not-for-profit industry. Graduates that can opt for careers in public accounting to provide consulting, tax, and auditing services to both individual and organizational clients. These students go beyond the BBA in Accounting to pursue a masters degree which allows them to satisfy the 150-hour requirement for Certified Public Accountants.
Applied Arts and Sciences, B.A.A.S.

This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHV. The Applied Arts and Sciences degree allows students to concentrate in Biology, Communication, Computer Information Science, Digital Gaming and Simulation, General Business, Leadership and Enterprise Studies, Legal Assistance and Administration, Marketing, and Psychology. The B.A.A.S. degree is unique because students who have vocational or technical training may be able to apply these hours towards a bachelor's degree. Behavioral Science - Psychology, B.S.

This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHCL. The Behavioral Sciences/Psychology degree allows students to combine courses in anthropology, psychology, and sociology according to their interests and goals. Graduates of general psychology work in human services organizations, in industry, as junior college instructors, and as research assistants. Other graduates are interested in enriching their understanding of human behavior and continue their careers in other fields or pursue masters or doctoral degrees. This degree is offered in Sugar Land by UHV. The Biology program is designed to prepare undergraduates for a variety of careers in industry or academic laboratories, for graduate work in the bio-medical sciences, and for medical and health professional programs. According to the American Marketing Association, nearly one-third of all Americans are employed in marketing-related positions. Graduates of the marketing program can pursue careers in several different areas including advertings, public relations, marketing research, non-profit marketing, product management and retailing. This program provides the knowledge and skills needed to develop marketing strategy, including applying the latest research methods for marketing decision making, and using buyer behavior theory as a basis for marketing strategy.
