Admissions

Students may be eligible for admissions to programs offered in Sugar Land if they have completed most of the lower-level courses in their major.

Admission begins with students:

  • Choosing a degree that they want to pursue (see degrees sponsored in Sugar Land)

  • Contact an academic advisor at Sugar Land

  • Applying to the university sponsoring the degree in Sugar Land

Advising

Academic advising is available by appointment at UHSSL by calling 281.275.3340. To make an appointment, students must:

  • Know the degree program that they are interested in pursuing in Sugar Land

  • Bring unofficial transcripts to the appointment

If students are undecided about the degree to pursue, they can email slinfo@uh.edu or go to the interactive information request page.

International Students
